Ooooo. Thats really really cool. Im assuming you changed the color of the smoke in photoshop or something :P How did you get the all black background and the candles not to look too dark or over exposed? Im having lots of lighting trouble, lol
Yeah, I did change the color in three of the images, but the blue one came out of the camera that way. For some reason, that was the only picture had blue smoke, while all my other pictures had normal looking smoke. I was inspired by the blue and changed the color of other smoke pictures in photoshop using filters and layer masks. For the black background, I had my brother hold a black piece of cloth behind the candles. Nothing really too complicated.

The multi-colored smoke turned out great! I tend to embrace the more natural looking photo, but the red smoke does look pretty cool.
